6 UNORTHODOX ECONOMY PREDICTIONS FOR THE FUTURE- PART 1 | by Sanuj Raj | Jul, 2021

In the 20th century, there were two superpowers, the USA and the mighty USSR. Both of them competed in Cold War to become the ultimate powerhouse. Most of the history of the late 20th century was revolving around these things, and most of the countries changed forever in those times.

Now a new player has emerged who wants to directly compete with the USA for world supremacy. The USA has acknowledged this and as a result, it has introduced some restrictions on China by banning some gigantic American companies like Google and Microsoft from operating in China.
Also, they started a trade war with China by banning any Chinese smartphone companies from entering the USA market, that’s why you’ll never see Vivo and Oppo phones selling anytime soon.

The USA is doing everything in its power to stop China’s rise to power. The USA surely wants to avoid another cold war of any sort, but I guess this time there will be no cold war rather a nuclear war just like what happened last time in the cold war when nuclear missiles were pointed towards the USA, set up in Cuba.

How China is doing it?

China is trying to buy parts of the nation economically, they are simply using the age-old technique of divide and rule. They are building huge infrastructures in other nations for free or for very little to no interest. They are deliberately choosing countries that are economically unstable and as a result, if the country is not able to repay their debt then China asks to take operations of the infrastructure for a very long definite amount of time, which they use to increase their influence around the world.

This process described above is used by China especially in the African nations, they have large ongoing projects in every African nation. In Kenya, they built a railway that cost 30% of their GDP and as a result, China supported them by giving them a loan to build that railway and boosted their GDP by 40%. These are the reasons why countries are allowing China to enter their regime because they are helping small countries with huge incentives.
It is pretty clear Kenya won’t be able to repay the loan and in the end, China will take over.

It’s clear that China is doing very nasty things in order to gain supremacy but if you look at the history of the USA you would find they did nastier and crazy things which would be 10 times what China is doing today. They were easily able to pull it off back then because of the lack of communication power of social media that we have today. But because the USA is against the Chinese regime, suddenly many countries started going against them because the world trade among many things is controlled by the USA in the background and all the countries know it, that’s why.

What are the Benefits of Becoming a Superpower?

There are uncountable advantages, here are a few:-

  1. It gives control in world trade and many countries abide by your rules and regulations.
  2. Your standards are followed everywhere.
  3. The economic power of the country grows exponentially.
  4. Talents of other countries come to seek better opportunities, which results in the overall growth of the nation in all aspects.

5. Preference is given to you on all aspects of economics, like in the UN you are preferred.
